Writing, reading, and adding your lore to someone else's story — free forever. Sending a letter is free too, for now, while we're in early access.
No date set. When it does, it'll be a simple plan, not a paywall you trip over — and you'll hear about it before it happens.
Only the people you send it to — by name, not strangers. A story shared as a public link, or shown on weavelore.co, is read-only: anyone can read it, but anonymous readers can't add anything. And whatever a recipient does add stays private to you until you choose to include it.
You include it, keep it private between the two of you, or decline it — nothing enters your story without your say. Declining never stings: they only ever see “your name saw your note — thank you.”
Not their own quote — if you include it in their voice, it stays exactly as they wrote it. You can tell it in your own words instead, but that's your telling alongside theirs, not an edit to it.
Yes — reply privately, or weave your reply into the story itself.
Not automatically, not yet — that's on our roadmap. For now, share the update yourself if you want them to see it.
Nothing, by default. A story is private until you mark it discoverable, and a letter is private always — sent only to the people it's for. You can change a story's discoverable setting any time.
They stay on your device. We don't ask you to upload anything until you actually send a letter — and then only the photos you chose to include go, at the resolution needed to read well, nothing more.
